Parish Records
- The Church Magazines and now the Village Magazines are bound in annual sets and kept in the Vestry. Every few years, [the last time being 2009] they are deposited at the Leicestershire Records Office in Wigston. These offices are an amazing place to visit particularly on a wet afternoon.
- In 1981 Alfred Tommy' Thompson painstakingly produced a book which shows the outline shape of all the Graves in the Graveyard [this Graveyard is now closed for further burials], where they are situate and details of the engraving on them. This is kept at the back of the Church and can now also be viewed on line on the Village website. The Rose Garden in the Graveyard has now been reopened and it may be possible for Ashes to be interred. Please ask the Clergy or any member of the DCC for details.
- The village also has records originally started by the W.I. These are kept my Janet Neaverson and contain, photographs and memorabilia of all aspects of village life since the WI began eighty years ago.
- The late Joan Stevenson wrote many books about the village and edited memories by old residents collected by the WI. These are all still available for purchase from her son Robin's company Kairos Press.
- The Clergy since records began is now recorded on the village website with photographs if available.
- Obituaries are also on the village website.
