What’s Going OnPrayer for our Village As was said at the last All-Age Worship service we hope to pray for our village, street by street. We were all invited to suggest particular streets to pray for each month. This month please pray for all those who live on or at: * Overfield Close * Barton Close * Heathbrook Drive * Centurion Court Easter Flowers in Church Easter will soon be upon us. If you would like to contribute to the cost of decorating the church with flowers at Easter please see Mary Priestnall or Brenda Willis. Home Start Easter Eggs We will again this year be collecting Easter Eggs for the Home Start Charity. This is a very worthwhile charity that supports families that are struggling to cope. This year please bring along your Easter Eggs on Sunday the 21st March 2010. Challenge 2010 There is still time to sign up for the £10.00 challenge. Any profit plus the original £10.00 will not be handed in until the Harvest Festival service later in the year. Sign up list on the welcome table or see David Willis. Appointment For those who missed it last Sunday, ‘The Bishop announces the appointment of the Revd Anne Stratton as Priest-in-Charge of St Peter’s, Belper in the Derby Diocese. Anne will be leaving the Bradgate Team on 28 March (We will have a team service in the morning) and the date of licensing at St Peter’s, Belper is 22 April.’ The Spring Fair This year’s spring fair will be on 13th March in the church rooms. Contributions of bottles, cakes, toys, bric-a-brac and raffle prizes will be gratefully received. Prizes for the tombola are also needed and should be forwarded to Justin or Serena. Please speak to Pamela Pollard about how you can help. Good Friday Holiday Club As in previous years, we are hoping to run a Holiday Club within our Church buildings on Good Friday morning, starting at 9.45am and finishing at approximately 2.15pm after a short act of worship in Church. We need lots of volunteers to help staff this event. Further details from Pamela Pollard Lent Groups If you would like to join the Lent groups that will be taking place each Wednesday from the 24th Feb, throughout Lent at 7.30pm at the Chapel, please sign the list at the back so we can have some idea of numbers.
