The Cemetery 

 Groby Lane 

Spring 2008.   The Rose bed has now been replanted with more suitable plants for the changing seasons in this country.  The work was carried out by the Village Gardening Club and Vice Chair Brian Anderson continues to water whenever necessary.................Autumn 2008.  The new plants are growing well and it has not been necessary for any watering. August 2009 - one Potentilla has had to be replaced.

The Parish Council will soon be starting on the extension to the cemetery.  This land was purchased a few years back in readiness for when it was needed.

Single and double Burial and Ash plots may be purchased from the Clerk who will be happy to supply a list of fees.

It may be possible to have an Ash plot in the Churchyard cemetery.  This area has recently been renovated by Eric Langton and is looking good.  A grid has now been prepared in the same manor as that kept for the Groby Lane Cemetery. - Enquiries to the Rector or his Team.
